The time is near, soon I will be facing what people call the "Real Life". Am I ready for the the "Real Life"? This question cannot be answered, however I can say that what I have experienced already has me ready for what the "Real Life" has in store for me. I will not be where I am today without everything that has already happened, which I like to refer to as the "The Prologue"
The Prologue
I(A).Family
I cannot put in words how much my family means to me, how much they have done for me and how much I owe to them. Through the good times, the bad times and the worst times I have always had a strong inner circle, which is my family. My parents are my inspiration and also my motivation. They have provided me with the tools needed to inspire myself to be a success, which will fuel my motivation in the "Real Life". My brother has always been a mentor and a role model to me, and without him I would not be the same person as I am today.
In additon, I must thank all my extended family on the West Coast. Keeping within my home nation, my family in Van City have always been there for me and have provided me with many great memories. And the same can be said for my family in the real "West Coast" in Sacramento, California, the only difference is that this family seems to be expanding rapidly, and i cannot wait to see all the new additions very sooon!
I(B). Family - WOLFPAK!, WPK, CUT BARTLES, MAN DEM...
If your confused by reading the title above, then you have already figured out that you are not part of this exclusive family.
How can he? or how can she? ME? not sure.. but the only thing I know is that we are family! Through the ups and downs, all the road trips (countless times to tdot, Syracuse, MTL 1, MTL 2, MTL 3, and another one to be added), the intense ball games, the countless nights we take life (please don't press charges o-town, MTL), and just the times we moss/lime/chill/run 2k.. all i know is that the bond we have created will never be broken and will remain strong know matter where "Real Life" takes us.
And I know i would get "cut" treatment if i didn't give a well deserved shout out to my TRIPOD. Ever since first year until now, cant stop, wont stop. WE RUN ONTARIO! Your approval of stamp is still required, due to our vast exclusiveness.
II. University Life
When I packed up my things are left home in 2006 for Carleton U, I had no idea what to expect. Fast forward to a month away from graduation, I can really say that it has exceeded my expectations immensely. I can really define each of the years by one word.
First Year - Success
Second Year - Swag
Third Year - Emotions
Fourth Year - WolfPak
After these 4 years, I can really say that I have changed from the chubby guy that arrived in first year, and have become a less chubby but more importantly a young man ready for "Real Life" with alot more Jordans, thanks bartle d.
It is the above things that have me ready for the "Real Life" which is slated to commence in September. Prologue officially ends in August, with the ceremony to be held in November.
Stay tuned for the "Real Life" - Chapter 1: Condo Warming, the Transition and Adjustments
